I would like to know why mr snuffer WHite is ok with the UGLY CITY HALL? The time you spend on here arguing, you could be spending doing something good for the CITY PROPERTIES.

The flood/insurance that some folks seem to be waiting on to fix up/replace city hall didnt materialize(the creek by city hall is kept above its normal level by a small dam so it will be 'a given' for it to flood city hall with a little rain). It is kinda like the federal matching funds that the Ouzts sponsored 'fix the creek plan' needs because it is so 'out there' and expensive.

Well, I do think that City Hall could use a better touch up than what was done last year. I do know that it takes money to do the job. I don't know how much money was approved by Sue Don and Garry during the last budget session. I do not remember seeing any money budgeted for this project in the recently approved mid year budget ammendment ($1.3 MILLION) Yes, I think more can and should be done. You might want to ask Nolan to speek with his "crew" Sue Don and Garry, about getting this done. It seems he has more influence with them than others do. However, I will ask the question tomorrow night at the city council meeting.

The only remotely Independent candidate in the last council race was Pete L. What happens when a citizen comes forward? Ron W and others put them under 24 hour surveillance, taking pictures with cell phones, their ever life moments are picked over and made public. John T has had this jacking off in the Quik Sack thing post as fact. If this is not true, then whoever posted it should be forced to bring forth proof. These things and the manner in which some citizens try to bully their personal agendas over the ‘will of the people’ at our council meetings. This must “STOP”, it is bad for our city, that’s bad for the TAX PAYERS.... YOU&I.........

You placed a Nay in the Bomber about your being turned down for membership, so that’s your bad, not mine.....You certainly pose no threat to my Membership and what not...You are petty, nasty, little ole fart, who can not take that which your yourself freely ‘dish out’.... You have talk trash about everyone (except those you like, and maybe even them too), and I have always tried to make it clear that when you mess with my friends (even my make believe friends, you are missing with me). You do what you will, nothing changes the fact that, you have bad mouthed Pete (our volunteer fire department, Chief Place, Lori, Jimmy and many, many others) for no just cause. Pete ran for office, he is honest, fair, and never violated any of the Laws or rules covering a candidate/citizen in a election (he never made a campaign speech at a council meeting less than a week before the election date). I do not know who you think you are, but the White in White Settlement does not represent you. You do not own our city, run or have power to over seeing what happens in our city, other than to cast your vote like the rest of we little people. You have a right to free speech, SO DO I.... You do not like it when someone does to you, what you have done to others...... THEN DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE DONE TO YOU..... you have not shut up on bad mouthing Pete, and the election was 2 weeks ago already. Butch up and stop acting like a little school girl who did not get her way on the play ground............

Well, Nolan, I spoke with a member in good standing who has paid his dues. You sir, are not a member in good standing. Yes, you are a Mason, BUT, you are not in good standing, and are not allowed to attend meetings. Presenting a "hot" check for payment is not an honorable deed. Now, IF you were to make up the arrears in your Lodge membership, you MAY be allowed to attend meetings. I suppose you can then sit with Les so that he can bend your ear also. For your information Nolan, I do not own a cell phone, don't like cell phones,and don't see a real need for them for myself since I am retired. My phone at home is all I need. Last time I looked, it did not have a picture taking capability either. As for Pete being an "Independent Candidate", I find that an amusing statement. Pete Ludwick and I have known each other for about 40 years. I met Pete when you were still trying to figure out how to spell, etc. Never did I see Pete at any council or board meeting until Garry was elected last year. Garry appointed Pete to the position I held on the crime board, which was his right. From that point on I knew Pete was being groomed to run for the counci seat Mr. Cash held, and I told many that same feeling I had. Pete and I were friendly to each other all those years, mainly because of our union membership and the fact that we worked in the same department at GD. Pete has not been an independent candidate as you claim. He was supported by Sue and Garry the whole time. He, like you, was duped by the three amigos. Too bad you are not able to see that. I'll bet Pete does now, even though he is still Garry's neighbor.

The man NEVER politiced for himself unless Garry was with him! I mean when I went to vote on Saturday, it was Garry that people thought they were voting for because Pete sat under the canopy while Garry handed out cards. I asked who Pete was, and it was then that he got out and spoke to me, which by the way, he didn't give me a decent answer to what I asked.

I will admit that Trevino was not even there, but I had asked him the SAME question when he was out in the city knocking a few doors down from where I live.

In this counctry we tell ourselves we should get out and excercise our right to vote, 1200+ voters did that, the result was a runoff for Sue and Powell, and just as it was said in the Star Telegram, Trevino won by a landslide margin of 2-1.

This is just my opinion and I know I will be slammed for it.

Who do you think is running this website? Why do you think it was set up?

It has never been about WS Issues, it has been a toy for a certain group of people to tear up other people.

Volunteers come in all different areas. This city is based on a lot of volunteers. I guess they are not as important though. Those who are willing to help their community for nothing and don't sit around whinning about it.

By the way, the City Infrastructure is in pretty much the same SAD SORRY SHAPE THAT IT WAS IN BACK WHEN I STARTED THE SITES. This town is ugly, the roads are bad and now the CITY HALL IS MILDEWED AND CRACKED STUCCO AND LOOKS LIKE IT MATCHES THE REST OF MOST OF THE CITY PROPERTIES IN TOWN NOW.....While reps from city hall argue and want to scrap with others, our city roads and properties keep deteriorating and rotting away. I AM NOT PROUD OF THE WAY THAT OUR CURRENT ADMINISTRATION HAS LET THE DOG POUND GO, UNTIL RECENTLY OR HOW THEY HAVE LET A LOT OF THE TOWN DETERIORATE WITH NO PLANS TO FIX ANY OF IT USING THE EVER INCREASING TAX MONEY THAT WE ALL FIND BUSTING OUR BUDGETS.

Hello Friends, thank you for your continued support. I might mention that RON WHITE was one of the first posters way back on the archived gb. Back then Lori posted as well. Most folks didn't know about the site for a long time and when some started using it, they lost the way to get there thanks to site deletions. Now the sites were not deleted because of attacks against Mr. White or because of anything said about him or most folks in the city personally. I did not even know who Mr. White was at first. But over time I came to know him by his attitude and his argumentative/defens ive overkill of most of my articles on DETERIORATING CITY INFRASTRUCTURE. I found my sites, after many hours of work, deleted one by one as elections neared. Until recently, this site has been treated as 'non existent' in council meetings for the most part until recently.
City Hall has gone from a word for word account of council meetings to short span summaries during the Ouzts Tenure. This makes it very difficult to analyze old council meetings unless one has endless hours to listen to ,sometimes edited, tapes.
I would say that pressing residents into the dark ages where we all relied upon the bomber news for information would be the goal of City Hall under Ouzts. Sure some folks abuse their freedoms, but that includes folks like the Mayor and his council yay teamers at times as well.
I am glad to offer this forum for any and all to participate in, you do not hear the moaning from either side of the aisle about being censored about their views on here by me, nor will you unless i get tired of seeing some silly pornlike picture, then I leave the url for anyone that wants to see it.I believe in freedom of speech.

By the way, try to get the spelling right will ya. You are right, I was one of the first posters on the original web site and have watched two of them get shut down. I have watched how this town is run and have watched it run down. I have seen very pleasant employees leave for whatever reasons and be replaced by incompetant, rude people who really don't care they are just drawing a paycheck. I have watched the mayor sit up on his throne and bash people publicly or allow his "friends" publicly bash people without so much as even a word to them. So what would your point be?

Ronnie asked to become a member of the Masonic Lodge. Poor little Ronnie was black balled, Ronnie did his usually public crying with a Nay in the Bomber. He said, you have cast a blemish on your lodge and the whole fraternity. The only thing he has proven sense is that he was truly unworthy of membership to even the Mickey Mouse Club, much less the Masonic Lodge. The lodge is as strong today, as ever without him. Your time will come, in the mean time take a shower and have the hair that is growing up your neck from your back trimmed, so it does not blend in with the hair on your head. My bad, it was the 4/24 meeting Alan did his speech.

You are right, but you did not stay for the whole meeting. Garry, Sue and Don wanted Citizen Presentations moved to the end. The Mayor was giving awards to those who serve our community, Spirit Awards I believe. You left and went straight to your computer and made a post about it.

So you never heard any of the discussion on the budget amendment. Did you?

I had not been to a council meeting in months, I was there 45 minutes and it was the same ‘ole song and dance’, with a few subject changes..... That is not the way city council meetings should be conducted..... It is like the old west, or worse...... IT IS SAD... and only serves to cause our city harm.... Perhaps I do not know the way forward, but I know that what our council meetings have become is not the way forward... When you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.... We have never stopped in years.......

The people who led the recall are not afraid of going to council meetings because they fear retaliation from the recall. Most of those are still on here accusing others of things they haven't done or are not doing or saying.

I think it is because you are afraid of being found out about regarding the posts on here.

Boy, Alan sure let the cat out of the bag on his last presentation to council. Said he didn't have anything to do with this website but quoted half the stuff on it. Said it should be shut down and in the same sentence said he thought it was going to be something good for this community. But it was nothing but trash.

There is a middle ground, once you quit accusing and slandering people on here and have enough guts to stand up for what you believe in public, you might find it.

I was there, when at the last council meeting two city employees were "interrogated" by Gunnar & James (no good cop, bad cop. ALL BAD COPS). I read the Bombers account, ACCOUNT!... What a joke. The person who wrote that article could not have been at the same council meeting as me..... in fact the Bomber and I do not live in the same town (I live White Settlement, Tx 76108, they must live in OZ)....... Can you say PROPAGANDA? FICTION!!!

How about a little American culture sensitivity. Memorial Day is coming... We should line Cherry Ln & WS Rd with American Flags in support of Our Troops & their families. Or at least force the used car lot in front of Veterans Park to take down their Mexican flag, and any other businesses take down any other National Flags, other than AMERICAN FLAGS.............

oh yeah, the mayor stuck it to the firemen long before sue miller and the rest got on the council. watch the tapes. if sue miller and the rest had been on the council i don't think this would have went this far. one of them if not all three of them would have went and talked to the firemen. they would have given them that respect. the mayor and rassmussen are not human enough.
