| How about I answer your questions myself this time? Nolan is disabled, but does not always use his cane so as not to be an inconvenience all the time. Now, as for my resignation from the P & Z Board, I did recently send letters of resignation to JoBette Muller and Jimmy Burnett. So I find it very interesting that everyone is so up on the current events at city hall. That happens to play into my reasons for resigning. Along with the fact that Nolan and I have received letters containing very derogatory and demeaning comments and personal threats from one or more people who obviously disagree with our views. I choose not to make a game of politics and public responsibility that way. I must do what is best for myself and my family.

I don't think the statement is ignorant. What is ignorant is the fact that someone mailed the letters to Nolan and Marla. BUT, they are not the only ones to receive IGNORANT letters.
