Hi Israel,
Yet another brilliant demonstration: This time it occurred in South Ossetia. And by the sound of it, both Georgians and Ossetians have been pretty nasty with one another, in particular when their own army was winning. You rightly say in your latest paper   (The Snatch): “Georgians are wonderful people, warm, handsome, pleasant and generous. However, they are ferocious nationalists of the tribal kind.” I would add to that, that knew them I, I bet I could say the same about 95% of the people on the planet. This proves my point, and negates yours: Mankind doesn’t live well together.
Whenever a homogeneous state can be formed and an inhomogeneous can be broken up, as the will of the vast majority of its people, peace on Earth makes progress. It was a good thing that Kosovo could break away from Serbia. Hopefully, one day, they will join up with their brothers from Tirana to form a greater and an even more viable country. Serbs don’t have my sympathy, who thought they could bully the Kossovans with impunity before NATO intervened. Georgia was the bully this time, and thanks to the Russian intervention, now, South Ossetia and Abkhazia will probably be able to break away. The Germans started the Second World War and God knows the allied forces made them pay for it. Yet, in spite of the sympathy for their suffering of 1945 I may have, borders in Europe have been redrawn to the better good: Bohemia-Moravia is now clean of the Sudeten and the Polish border problem has been solved after 3 centuries. What about the Swiss may you say: Isn’t this a model of multilingual country? Well perhaps not that different from other countries after all: The francophone minority of the greater canton of Bern obtained the split of its western portion to form the latest addition to the cantons of this country.
Now, let me make some predictions, even though I am not a talented man like Nostradamus or Saint Malachy: Europe will never work, for the simple and silly reason that they do not speak the same language. Look at the Flems and the Walloons in Belgium. All the Hispanic immigration in the USA or Arab/African immigration that is currently taking place in Europe does not bode anything good for the future peace of these places. Just wait 50-100 years for the demographic shift to make its effect felt.
And, to finish, to the holy land dear to your heart. There are too few good hearted people, like I imagine you are: One state would never work. It is an utopia. Even though the UN vote of 1947 was an outrage, the Jews are there now as a matter of fact. So, they should have their state. And even their wall if they want, as long as it does not encroach on the occupied territories like now, cheeky buggers.

Hi Israel,
For a while, I have been wanting to send you my salutations for your original, courageous and spiritual writings. Your latest paper, “Noam Chomsky and the 9/11 crusaders” gives me a pretext to do so.
Encyclopedic though your culture may be, an ex citizen of the Third Rome like you cannot be expected to be familiar with the declensions of the First. So, in the aforementioned paper, the quote is “cui bono” which could be literally translated as “to whom it is being good”. “Qui” is nominative   (Who, êòî) whereas “cui” is dative singular   (To whom, êîìó). “Bono” is ablative singular.
I agree with your theme of western Middle-East information being hijacked by Zionist interests. I personally think the UN 1947 vote for the creation of the state of Israel was an outrage. But I disagree with your one state solution. Since 1947, much Jordan water has flown under the bridges, and the Jewish immigrants, rightly or wrongly, now live on this land. Two states side by side is a better solution to separate people, when language, culture and religion are too different. Racist, discriminatory, etc…? Yes, it is. But don’t shoot me, I just observe: Mankind is tribal. That is encoded in our genes all the way back to a time before we murdered Homo Neanderthalis. One has to be realistic; the proof is everywhere and all the time to be seen on this planet. The one state solution would not work. Economic compensation   (I also have a plan about that) would have to be paid to the Palestinian refugees who were dispossessed, unjustly, and in not a few cases by Zionist terror. They, rightfully, have rage in their heart.

Let’s not allow ourselves to be deceived by the appearances   (continued)

Bhadrakumar wrote: “The discredited secularist camp is unable to meet the challenge of Islamism, which has shown tremendous skill in integrating socio-economic grievances, couching it in appealing revolutionary idiom and giving it the coloring of anti-Western nationalism that is widespread in the region.” One should be very careful in using vague notions such as “Islamism”. Islam objectively may and shall play   (and is playing) a somewhat progressive, that is anti-imperialist role in oppressed countries, such as Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine, Somalia etc. However, this is NOT the case in Turkey, which has inherited the imperial mindset and tradition of the Ottoman Empire. This empire held the Middle East and the Balkans for hundreds of years under its iron heel and the religious establishment was part of the oppressive state apparatus. In Turkey, Islam has traditionally been a pro-US and pro-establishment force. Despite the effect of the “Islamic revolution” in Iran in 1979 and that of the crusade against Islam launched mainly in the wake of the events of 11 September 2001, Islam in Turkey has a relatively weak anti-imperialist orientation. Here Bhadrakumar has made an important mistake in failing to differentiate between TWO different types of countries: Those who have been   (or still are) under colonial oppression AND those who have had a colonialist past or or still have a colonialist/ imperialist position. In a country such as Turkey still burdened by the ideological baggage of the past and neo-Ottomanist aspirations, religion is mainly a reactionary and pro-capitalist and pro-imperialist force. Until recently, the religiously inspired   (and other) mobs have attacked times and again on workers, anti-imperialist demonstrations, Christian minorities, progressive intellectuals and Alevites. Because of their reactionary background and political backwardness, they can be easily manipulated by Turkish intelligence agencies, which works hand in glove with those of the USA and Israel. One cannot, however, deny the presence of a growing anti-imperialist potential at the popular level which needs to be tapped.

One further note: Erdogan is no friend of Syria   (nor of Russia). In politics there are no friendships or enmities; there are constantly shifting combinations mainly led by interests   (or what are perceived to be as interests). AKP government has taken part in the so-called Syria-Israel peace negotiations. But what does this signify? A genuine desire for peace in the region? Or a US-inspired plan to effect a rapture between Syria and Iran, to isolate and weaken Iran, pressure it to capitulate and prepare the conditions for an eventual military attack on this country? I believe the latter to be true. So, let’s not allow ourselves to be deceived by the appearances.

Let’s not allow ourselves to be deceived by the appearances
Note: This is a response to M K Bhadrakumar’s article “Alarm spreads over Turkey's troubles” and to I. Shamir’s remarks on that article.

Shamir’s and Bhadrakumar’s arguments oversimplify and therefore err in assessing the situation in Turkey. This is a very compex question and cannot be understood in black and white terms. First of all, neither the military and its allies are genuinely secularist, nor the AKP and the government are Muslim-oriented. Secularist and religious discourse are only ideological symbols used in the power struggle between two wings of the Turkish bourgeoisie, both of which are pro-US and pro-Israel. Both  agree in exploiting and suppressing workers; both are for the ongoing oppression of the Kurdish nation, other non-Turkish nationalities and support the discrimination against the Alevite sect. Both support the aggressive NATO, are for Turkish participation in the US “war on terror”, as the presence of Turkish troops in Afghanistan and Lebanon and use of Injirlik base for very important logistical support for US forces in Iraq show. They both entertain expansionist designs vis-à-vis the Middle East and even Balkans and dream of reviving the defunct Ottoman Empire. There are certain differences of course. For instance, the AKP government is not so keen on a war against Iran and the military is less enthusiastic on selling off major Turkish state companies to foreign capital.   (The AKP government has overseen the most ambitious and systematic privatization of Turkish state companies for the benefit of foreign capital and PM Tayyip Erdogan takes pride with this feat.) Let’s not, however, forget that in Turkey there is a growing and very widespread genuinely nationalistic feeling across the whole spectrum; at the target of this feeling are pro-US, pro-Israel and pro-globalization stand of the generals and AKP leadership. As the world economic recession deepens and its effects are felt more and more in Turkey, this feeling gets stronger and may and will seek political channels to express itself. And this is the main reason behind the ongoing police operation against a secret state organization called Ergenekon, which is supported by the General Staff and the government. The overall weakening of the US and the rise of new imperialist powers, such as China and Russia has helped to strengthen the nationalistic tendency. For same years even some representatives of the establishment have been playing with the idea of aligning with China, Russia, Iran etc. As far back March 2002, General Tunjer Kilinch, the Secretary of the influential National Security Council had advocated a new route which would include the Russian Federation and Iran, in his speech at a symposium organized by the War College. So, the Ergenekon operation, which has been marketed as a sort of anti-Gladio action by the so-called liberal supporters of the AKP, is in fact a preventive measure planned and

How to stop the NWO/Masons crimes immediately

You must fight for and demand a public register of Freemasons, Co Masons and The Order Of The Eastern Star   (female Masons)

This would comprehensively prove if they are a good charitable fraternity or a criminal organisation.

Freemasonry portrays itself that it is all good. It should not have a problem with a public register of their good? members.

After all, wouldn't you like to know if your best friend, family, lawyer, policeman, doctor, emergency services, neighbour, military forces, social services, politician, judge, dentist, tradesman, vet, supermarket, council, postman, religious leader, care worker, etc, is a Mason   ? Fact, Freemasonry flourishes on the abuse of your trust.

First of all, write to your local lodge   (via signed for letter), we guarantee they will ignore you. Then do a Freedom of Information request   (via signed for letter). Then take your results to your Politician   (ask if he is a Mason). If you get nowhere, you now know for sure that everything we say is true. Next, you must educate everybody. Start petitions and send/fax/print off copies of this email to everyone in your street, workplace, library, waiting rooms, supermarkets, public transport etc. Knock on the doors of your local lodge   (local house of corruption) and ask them questions. Make sure you have a witness, voice recorder and video-cam. Ask them for a public register or about someone you suspect of being a member. We have to waken up immediately, we HAVE to fight this as we are running out of time. Get rid of this Masonic mind-controlled virus and the NWO will fall. No Masonic foot-soldiers = no power. Direct any doubters to the websites below   (and follow the links) or get them to read the David Icke newsletters.

Freemasonry is the main tool for the Illuminati - Oil Barons - Bankers - Royalty - World's Richest Families   (mainly American/Israelis). These people are responsible for a trillion, trillion crimes   (underestimated) against the planet and its contents. All food, fuel, poverty, starvation, misery and energy costs are all manipulated by the NWO. All wars, terrorism, drugs, crime, politics   (including Lisbon Treaty) is fabricated by the NWO. They also own all media so they control everything you see, read and hear. All of the laws in every country have been changed to favour the NWO. We are literally being controlled by a criminal network/organisation and they have nasty/vile/despicable plans for us all. Checkout the brilliant truth-seeking websites below and educate yourselves to this very serious situation. Freemasonry is also a mind-controlled religious cult and they DO practice witchcraft.

Give us a public register of the secret societies and the "societies with secrets"   (the Freemasons get out clause). Then we will no longer be controlled by a criminal religious cult/network/organisation. If you are a member of Freemasonry, there is nothing to stop you reading what you are a part of. You are

    Mr. "Shamir",

I must say, you have an extremely creative mind, the liberty you take with depiction of history and current affairs is truly inspiring.

I do not know where you came from or what you have done with your life until this point - because I, as an Israeli citizen for over 25 years, who keeps up with political developments and take great interest in current affairs have never even heard your name mentioned, not in Israel and not anywhere else, for that matter.

The fact is that you know you do not speak the truth, and out of frustration you blame the "Jewish media" of "Zionist conspiracy" - you sir, are a balloon filled with hot air.

Most Jewish people do not agree among themselves on political, religious and other issues - as the old saying goes "for every two Jews there are three opinions" - so to try and claim that there is some kind of centuries old universal Jewish conspiracy is preposterous.

I do suggest that if you truly aspire to help end the Jewish-Palestinian confrontation you either join us realistic people who work hard every day to try and end this madness, or you can stay quietly and uninterrupted in Sweden, and let us make some real effort.

I also would like to suggest that the next time you are "invited" to speak at Berkeley or any other place about your political views, you will politely refuse or instead offer you services to the arts department, based on your experience as a fictional writer.

By the way, I do believe that your best work was your CV.

    Respectfully,

    Moshe Tzabar.
