In China recently arose a new term: "Double-headed Leech Effect". Meaning a sort of iron-triangle of beneficiaries of "market economy", consisting of a subtle and closely bonded club of officials, 'reformist academics' who hold stocks in newly privatised firms, and corporate ceos, who position themselves thus so that: if the Chinese 'rightists' arise, meaning abandoning the last vestige of cosmetic 'Chinese communism', they win; if the Chinese 'leftists' gain the day, meaning restoring state power, taking advantage of poor people's nostalgia for Mao, they also have a way to remain ahead. Thus the double headed leech.
This group also benefit from a 'victim' status, even though they are now millionares many times over, ---- they were persecuted during the 'cultural revolution'
Have you ever considered the existence of groups similar to those parodized in the "Protocol of the Elders?" in every nation, every race, the kind of people who don't show themselves, but win both ways?
